Ok but I want to make a point, with those staggering numbers why can’t each American receive say $5-10MIL each? Then the Democrats can raise taxes and slowly take it all back while we are spending and really jump starting the economy. For some reason they thought sending me $1200 was going to jumpstart and economy, that paid my rent for a month. Now if you give me $5MIL to spend I will jump start this local economy like it’s never been seen before. I wouldn’t even bitch in the least about adding to the federal gas tax, or not renewing the tax deals when they expire. Picture the things i could do with that kind of money. I could invest, spend, build, buy, and anything else I wanted to do. Those that blow everything will have no reason to complain, and those that saved and helped spur a successful jump in today’s America will forever be ok no matter which bank collapses. This sounds like a great idea, though I am well aware it will never happen.
I feel if we have all this money to print and hand out then let’s do it from the bottom up. Reality is they call it our money, but it’s not because God forbid they gave it back to us. They feel they have to spend it in a frenzy and without restraint. I know not every member of Congress is completely incompetent, but even now I question it. I think they should send out huge checks to everyone and let it funnel up the market. Record numbers of mortgages will be paid off which would solve the sub prime mortgage problem and foreclosures would stop. Banks would have a monster influx of cash deposits which would keep them from toppling. Things will happen very quickly if they infuse that kind of funding to the American population.
Just some food for thought. Tell me what you think…

You heard this Republican guy right, I finally found him. All this hoopla about change, a woman possibly being the President, or how McCain is too old and he slipped right by. I was enjoying my evening with Glenn Beck this evening (which I always enjoy). He did a full hour with Bob Barr on his evening show. He asked all the real questions and did a fantastic one on one. This guy is awesome, no I take that back. This guy is fucking awesome! Why do I say this? He is what I was looking for this whole time. I gave him a standing ovation at the end of the program, which I admit there was no reason to since I was alone. This guy deserves the big F’n awesome. That’s highly reserved though for someone special.
Ok I got the intro out of the way so let’s talk Bob Barr. Why does he get the highest rating of an F? He is a Libertarian. He is for reducing the government. He is for common sense and he has answers. If you don’t know about Bob Barr then you need to get to know him. You need to read his views and start comparing to what is being offered in our two mainstream parties currently. I don’t see change in Obama’s glitzy DNC, and I don’t see common sense in McCain’s approach. I have been researching, listening, talking, and trying to develop a plan of action for my vote in November. This is it folks. Americans really need to start doing some more research.
I can’t believe the media isn’t picking this guy up. He would stir things up and bust this wide open and show America we actually have a viable option. He is for setting term limits in all of government, he is for control of our national debt, and he is for taking real action in repairing America. I haven’t found anything I didn’t like this far but I am no fool and I won’t stop looking till I find the flaw. Look, the guy even has a moustache. That in itself is a bit bad ass.
So I know the ole saying “You are throwing your vote away not voting for Dems or Republicans”. Am I really? Perhaps I am sending a message with my vote saying I am one American that didn’t like either. Remember Ross Perot? He grabbed 20% of the American votes which was huge. I would love to see it creep even higher for a new third party. After seeing Obama’s huge party and the money spent on it I am certain that a party willing to blow money on an obvious announcement will continue to destroy our budget. Why have an acceptance speech for something he obviously wasn’t going to turn down? We will save that for another blog though.
If you want to send a message to the politician system and get a great candidate at the same time then please check Barr out. Other than just liking what he brings to the table I have no affiliation or am I part of his party. I want real change and smaller government. This seems like the ticket to be on for just that. It’s been a long time since we had a moustache in office and I think Bob Barr is the one to bring it in. I mean honestly when most of our issues stem from foriegn policy nothing says you mean business than a solid stache.

Perhaps our leaders have forgotten about real issues, perhaps they have forgotten about what makes America run, or perhaps they only care about their personal agendas. They get big thumbs down for not getting things done, and I mean real things. If they want to get their numbers up then they need to start talking about real politics. They need to start focusing about domestic issues and less on the war. The military is fighting the war and we don’t need our congressional arm to fight it from their chambers.
The war isn’t going to end till Iraq and other places can stand on their own. The economy is not going to fix itself with a $1,200 check from the government for each family. The housing market isn’t going to recoup with a government buyout plan. These folks we have elected need to stop wasting time and focus on real issues they can impact. They have it all wrong with global warming, carbon credits, interviewing big oil, and everything else. They could be less focused than they are today.
The biggest problem is with today’s internet and media coverage the American people are actually taking notice of the lack of work our wonderful representatives are actually doing. Most Americans I have come into contact with generally feel as if that whole section of government is nothing but a waste. They earmark the hell out of us, take extraordinary vacations, fly all over the world to shake hands with people they have no intention helping, and yet still give themselves large salaries and never ending retirement. To be honest the more I talk about their perks, the more I am thinking about running for a position so I better quit while I am ahead.
All in all I frankly believe even 12% is higher than what it really is. In 30 years of my life those pollsters haven’t called me. So who are they calling? I think America is down a long and wrong road that we will have trouble coming back from. We are looking at some of the worst possible candidates in American history, and no savior in the horizon. We are in some dark days of our history and it’s only started.
