That White Guy Barack Has a Chance

This year’s Presidential race is interesting to say the least. What were the odds of having a young white guy, an old white guy, and a woman running for that one seat? Normally we as Americans have always choosen an older white male for our President. Now we have youth and a woman competing. Perhaps 2008 will be the changing tide. I don’t know how many people enjoy Opie and Anthony, but in the way that they regard Hiliary Clinton is the same as I do. I think to date, Beatrice Oneil had it right as he said,”She is the worst speaker ever, she is so fake”. So in my opinion it is not that women don’t have a place as President, but rather, that particular woman. She is one of the worst choices the gender could be putting up.  Continue reading

Modern day slavery, tax rape !

Welcome U.S. citizens and all other people working legally here in the good old U.S.A. Welcome to modern day slavery. OK, so you want to know what i am ranting and raving about? I’m 32,married, home owner, with one kid and hoping for more sounds like the good old American dream don’t it?

I make an average of $18.00 per hour, 40 hours a week, that comes out to $720 before “Uncle Sam” takes his share. Which then leaves me after taxes and deductions around $500 , sounds great doesn’t it? ya, not bad if your not looking at the whole picture. $160 dollars of that goes to taxes every week. Thats $8320 a year. Now lets add on my property taxes, $3400 a year for my 2000 sq foot home, built in 1923, with an acre of land. Nearly $800 in car taxes a year, thanks to Conneticut. Can’t forget that little fire tax they throw in there, if you don’t pay that when your house is burning down, they might not show up with the water to put it out, my fire tax is around $100 a year.

Now here’s the grand total $12,620 a year in taxes. Divide that by 52 weeks a year and you get $242.70, that’s how much Mr. Government really takes out of my pocket, I can’t figure it in on this equation, but do’t forget sales tax, and God forbid you put some money away in a bank, you get taxes on the interest you make. So figure it out for yourself, how much do you really bring home and how much does our government rip out of your pocket?

What effect does this have with our families? Most families have two working spouses, which leads to “latch key kids” for anyone that doesn’t know , that is when your kids have there own key to the house because no one is home, because Mommy and Daddy both have to work. Is this the way the government wants us to raise our children? I could rant and rave about cause and effect for days and days about how the government is killing our society and family values. But i will just end it with this,

” Hello fellow Americans, Your government is raping you! “

PS. ” I feel like a street whore and the government is my pimp! “

Wikipedia and Me

Finally a Page

Wikipedia and I need to have a talk. Well, maybe a write off or something. If I could write something to Wikipedia as a whole it would be something like this:

Dear Wikipedia,

You’re special in many ways, but you’re not complete. You are missing me. I know, I know…I am not a rockstar, a pornstar, a mass murderer, Hollywood filmstar, heck I am not even a kid’s show host. I only ask that one day you consider me as a page. I am just a normal guy. I have some children, and I have some websites. I haven’t done anything too special in my life but I can make people smile and laugh. You have around 1.8Mil pages in yourself, and what would be one more about me? Perhaps you could just say a couple things about me like I am handsome, or I am above average in my IQ. I yearn for you to write about me and my life.

Signed,
Desperately seeking Attention Continue reading

Wal-Mart and Covert Name Brand Competition

Wal-Mart is the biggest of the big.As I walked the giant mall-like Wal-Mart with my family this evening we found our way to the food section where the giant retailer does it down and dirty competition against well established name brands. Though I know many realize this trickery that Wally world uses, some still don’t see it. Let’s face it, Sam Walden’s dream takes a PR beaten from the media and groups fighting against the system that employs 10′s of thousands across the United States. One thing that they don’t get recognized for is the way they out price same-like products that helped them to get into the huge position they have come to enjoy. Continue reading

Free Advertising in America

These days advertising isn’t limited to anything or even anyone. You can actually get paid to tattoo an advertisement onto your body. The world is ad crazy and we are only getting into the 21st Century. The 20th Century was known as the Industrial Age/Information Age so will it be possible the 21st Century will be the Advertisement Age? With the dollar being the trade for the word on a product and why you should buy it, it astounds me that people are still willing to promote for free. Continue reading

Peacock Effect

Often I spend time in my neighborhood seeing activities take place from the kids hanging out to random shootings. My neighborhood is distant from what I grew up knowing. In many ways it has directly affected the way I look at the world from an all color world to a world of black. When I came to my neighborhood I found a house I wanted to buy and settle into. I didn’t know the people yet, I didn’t understand the social dynamics. I grew up in New England where race itself is mutual in the way people are treated, respected, and live with each other. I didn’t view one color from another differently. Continue reading

Great…Ads Take Over My Monitor

I am a surfaholic, or a web-connoisseur, if you will from anything dealing with news all the way into dabbling in exotic websites created for men. I say this because I frak’in (also a huge BSG fan) can’t get enough of basking in the light rays emitted from my monitor. Recently I have felt a little irritated though as I surf websites I frequent, and have come to love and bookmark. It’s this stuff called ads, and I know you are very familiar with them also. I dealt with pop-ups, pop-unders, Google Adsense, and all the others that are just dying for my clicks so some webmaster can get paid $.02 per click and if we just talk adsense it’s probably lower than that. America: Oil for Food, Houses for Gas

The United States has evolved over many years as an exciting, fast paced way to your golden dreams. Other countries have not had quite the same history of luxury and riches of the USA. Looking back just a decade ago we had the “Oil for Food” program which was intended to help the Iraqi citizens survive the sanctions against that country by trading oil for food. The people of Iraq received the things they needed to live while the money they received helped rebuild the country of Kuwait after Saddam Hussein try toppling it.

Much in the same though we are working here in our own country under a new program seemed to be newly adopted by our greedy bankers and oil companies. The new “Houses for Gas” program seems to be working not as well as the other program did. In this program People give back their houses to the banks in exchange to be able to by gas for their cars. However, in this triangle, the money is then given to Big Oil so they can claim the largest profits in the history of the world, and the bankers receive dead property. It’s got a little twist in it and people don’t really understand it just yet. Instead of everyone winning in this program, only Big Oil wins. Continue reading

To Much Internet On the Brain

The internet itself takes a large portion of my day. Any tasks from online banking to chatting on Yahoo Messenger makes it through my common day to day routines. This morning I woke up and took a shower. Afterwards I was brushing my teeth when I heard the same noise YIM makes when someone IM’s me. I looked around and it was completely silent. I went to my computer to see if I had received a message. I had not received any at this point. Now I am starting to hear my computer even when i am far away from it. Continue reading
